Yvonne Nicole “Nikki” Roy

Yvonne Nicole “Nikki” Roy age 42, of Somerset, Kentucky passed from this life on Thursday, January 11, 2024 after losing a long fight to cancer.

She was born on July 29, 1981 in Somerset, Kentucky, daughter of Greg Roy of Somerset and the late Gwendolyn Tarter Davidson. Nikki attended Southwestern High School and later got her GED. She was of the Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by her mother Gwendolyn Tarter Davidson, a brother Gregory Roy Jr., maternal grandmother Leona Wilson Turner, mater grandfather Vertrees Tarter, paternal grandmother Pauline Roy, paternal grandfather Ronald Roy, along with maternal stepfather, Harold Boyer.

Nikki is survived by her father; Greg Roy of Somerset, five children; Cedric Roy, Hailey Hardwick, Dakota Hardwick all of Somerset, Ky; Madison Ryan of Harrodsburg, K and Nevaeh Mounce also of Somerset. Two sisters; Ashley (Chris) Whittle of Somerset, Amber Roy of Somerset, a granddaughter Haven Grace Roy of Somerset, along with several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a special friend/father to Hailey and Dakota; Billy Hardwick.
