William Ralph Taylor age 76 of Somerset, Kentucky passed from this life Thursday, April 25, 2019 at his home.
William was born December 22, 1942 to the late William Leonard Talor and Stella Lovins Brummer in Franklin, Indiana.
He was a member of True House of Prayer in Somerset, Kentucky. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, restoring old cars, wood working, playing his guitar and singing.
He shared his life with his loving wife of 57 years, Brenda Nicholson Taylor.
William is preceded in death by his parents, William and Stella Taylor.
He is survived by his loving wife, Brenda Taylor; sons, William Ralph Taylor Jr. (Glenda) of Danville, Kentucky, Paul A. Taylor (Joy) of Indy, Indiana, Ronnie (Cookie) Taylor of Somerset, Kentucky; daughters, Paula (Dennis)Whitis of Somerset, Kentucky, Mauricia (Rodney) Smith of Somerset, Kentucky; brothers, Harold Taylor (Norma) of Fairland, Indiana, Gary Taylor of Somerset, Kentucky; sisters, Wanda (Byron) Bohanon of Indy, Indiana, Jean (Gary) Jones of Somerset, Kentucky, Alisha (Glen) Chaney of Somerset, Kentucky; Nineteen grandchildren, and twenty great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Monday, April 29, 2019 at 6:00 P.M. in the Chapel of The Southern Oaks Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 30, 2019 at 1:00 P.M. in the Chapel of The Southern Oaks Funeral Home with Bro. Rick Lawson officiating.
Pallbearers will be (grandsons) Jeremy, Cody, Joey, Jared, Chip, Dustin, and best friend, Vola.
Honorary Pallbearers will be (great grandsons) Connor and Cameron, and (grandson) Nathan.
Burial will be in the Dyer Cemetery in Shopville, Kentucky.
Southern Oaks Funeral Home are entrusted with the arrangements for William Ralph Taylor.
