William J. Rogers

William J. Rogers age 80 of Somerset, Kentucky passed from this life Wednesday, September 11, 2019 at the Lake Cumberland Nursing & Rehab.

William was born October 5, 1938 to the late Joseph Rogers and Georgia Humphries Rogers in Hopkinsville, Kentucky.

He was of the Baptist faith, loved being on Lake Cumberland, and loved his dog B.J.

William is preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Susie Butler Rogers; son, William “Tony” A. Rogers (Michelle) of Hebron, Ky; brothers, Roy Rogers of Cadiz, Ky; Robert Rogers (Patty) of Cadiz, Ky; Robert Earl Rogers Jr. (Melissa) of Cadiz, Ky; sister, Diane King (R.B.) of Cadiz, Ky; grandchildren, Byron Robert Rogers; and William Trent Rogers.

Visitation will be Sunday, September 15, 2019 at 12:00 noon in the Chapel of the Southern Oaks Funeral Home with a funeral service to follow at 1:00 P.M. with Chaplain Greg Ryan officiating.

Burial will be in the Southern Oaks Cemetery.
