Wanda M. Angel Roberts

Wanda M. Angel Roberts, age 79 of Somerset, Kentucky passed from this life on Friday, June 2, 2023 at Hospice of Lake Cumberland.

She was born on October 2, 1943, daughter of the late Francis and Gladys Carter Angel.

In addition to her parents, Wanda is preceded in death by her brother, Oscar Angel and sisters, Betty Kemplin and Cindy Moore.

She enjoyed life to the fullest, loved to cook, and most of all, spending time with her family and grandchildren.

Surviving family include her daughters, Julie Troxell of Somerset, Terry Wheeler, Cathy (Clarke) Coccari of Lexington, and her son, Tony (Stephanie) Troxell of Lexington. Grandchildren; Nicole Troxell, Paige Pauley, Nina Troxell, Christopher Troxell, Brooke Coccari, Troy Wheeler, Matt Wheeler, and Frankie Wheeler. Great-Grandchildren; Damien Amos, Mia Roberts, Magnus Troxell, Lucian Pauley, Claudia Pauley, Gabriel Pauley, Drake Troxell, and Connor Perdue.

Also surviving are Wanda’s brothers and sisters; Estil Angel of Pine knot, Fay (Phillip) Jones of Stearns, Imogene Thomas of Somerset, Emma (Albert) Secrest of Alabama, Norman (Terri-Linn) Angel of Stearns, Norma Lee Elam of Whitley City, Dora (Bob) Marlow of Whitley City, and Georgia Sroufe of Somerset.

She also leaves behind numerous close friends and family.

Following her wishes, she was cremated and there will be a Celebration of Life at a later date.
