Valerie Burton, age 58, of Burnside, Kentucky, passed from this life on Tuesday, July 25th, 2023 at her home.
Valerie was born on October 15, 1964 to Thurman Troxtel and Anita Toney Troxtel in Somerset, Kentucky.
She was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed cook-outs, spending time with friends and loved being outdoors. Most of all she cherished her grandkids.
Valerie was preceded in death by her father, Thurman Troxtel and sister, Rhonda Anderson. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her mother, Anita Troxtel, daughter, Michelle Troxtel of Science Hill, Ky; sister, Roxanna Morrow (Gary) of Somerset, Ky; Stephanie Smith (David) of Burnside, Ky; stepsister, Jenna Williams (John) of Mississippi; stepmother, Sherry Troxtel, stepbrother, Chad Hill (Amye) of Science Hill, Ky; grandchildren, Gracie Burton, Jaylah Whitehead, Eli Whitehead, Ryder Whitehead and Case Whitehead.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 28th, 2023 from 11 A.M. to 1 P.M. in the Chapel of the Southern Oaks Funeral Home with a funeral service to begin at 1 P.M. with Bro. Ron Freeman officiating. Burial will follow in Tateville Cemetery.
