Sherri Beth Dalton

Sherri Beth Dalton, age 56, of Somerset, Kentucky, passed from this life on Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.

She was born on June 6, 1965, daughter of the late Paul and Carol Sheffel Oaks.

Sherri was a homemaker and a member of Quinton Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening, landscaping, camping, fishing, going to yard sales, and was very artistic. She loved spending time with and cooking for her family, but most of all she loved spending time with her grandbabies. Sherri will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister; Janene Delcamp, and a son-in-law; Kevin Manuel.

She is survived by her husband; Todd Dalton, daughters; Tisha (Clayton) Vest of Waynesburg, Tiffany (Mickey) Taylor of Stanford, and Trinna (Seth) Banta of Lancaster, stepdaughter Shawna Walley of Missouri, a special son; Tyler Walters of Somerset, brother; Greg (Becky) Oaks  of Waynesburg, sister; Becky (Jay) Hutcheson of Nancy, half-brother; Dennis (Mary) Goens of Independence, KY, 12 grandchildren; Trevor, Cambree, Taylee, Kaden, Kisslee, Kinslee, Cyrus, Kinley, Khloe, Damian, Tara, and Owen, father-in-law and mother-in-law; Glen and Joyce Dalton of Bronston, several nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law; Tracie (Chuck) Tarter of Somerset and Tonya Newell of Bronston, and many friends.

Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at Southern Oaks Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday in the Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home with Bro. Jack Stallsworth and Bro. Isaiah Super officiating. Burial will be in Quinton Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Trooper Island, P.O. Box 473, Albany, KY 42602.

At the family’s request, due to Covid, masks are required at all times.
