Sharon Kay Baker, 75, of Nancy, departed this life peacefully, surrounded by her family and long-time friend, Angel Elliott, June 16, 2023.

She was born in Clarksburg, WV, on May 22, 1948, a daughter of the late Hadley Arthur and Victoria Hope Moore Jenks. Along with her parents, she is proceeded in death by brothers, Hadley Aaron and Gary Ray Jenks.

Sharon loved singing karaoke with husband, John, being a helping hand in any way, but most of all, quality time with family.

Sharon is survived by her loving husband, John W. Baker; son, Michael Aaron Swiger; sister, Susanne Garland (Mark) of Nancy, KY; special great nephew, Isaiah Drury, Liberty, KY, nieces and nephews, Lisa King, Teffany Jenks, Shawn Jenks (Kim), Cynthia Jenks, Anthony Garland (Chelsy) and Alicia Garland. Great nieces and nephews, Ashley Miller, SPC Alexander Owen King, Sharae Jenks, Elizabeth Gibson (Travis), Ashton Jenks, Deven Jenks, Beckett Mark Garland, Riverlee Cantrell Murray, Daisy Gibson, Amara Jenks and Stella Rodgers.

Graveside service will be held on Friday, June 23, 2023 at 1:30 P.M. Sharon Kay Baker at Mill Springs National Cemetery with Bro. Joe Cox officiating. All are welcome to attend.
