Sarah Kathleen Phillips, age 82 of Somerset, Kentucky, entered her Eternal life in heaven on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at her residence surrounded by her loved ones.

Sarah Kathleen Phillips was born February 28, 1938 in Wayne County, KY, to the late David and Myrtle Hall. She was one of the original members of Norwood Bible Covenant Church which started in her home in 1974. She enjoyed being outside, gardening, feeding birds, planting flowers, singing, and watching the great-grandkids play.

She is survived by her son, Micheal (and Denise) Phillips of Carlsbad, NM and daughter, Patricia (and Larry) Rogers of Somerset, KY; her four brothers Barney Hall of Wakeman, OH, Clyde (and Sue) Hall of Lorraine, OH, Thomas (and Donna) Hall of Amherst, OH, and Howard (and Christine) Hall of Edmonton, KY; her four sisters Joyce Black of Wayne Co., KY, Freda Branscum of Monticello, KY, Retha Casada of Crackerneck, KY, and Barbara Black of Eubank, KY; her grandchildren Phillip (and Erica) Rogers of Eubank, KY, and James (and Sarah) Rogers of Somerset, KY, Brian Rogers of Richmond, KY, Jason (and Denise) Phillips of Waynesburg, KY, JoAnn (and Kerry) Fain of Somerset, KY, Jennifer (and John) Brown of Trenton, OH, Portia and Shali Phillips of Carlsbad, NM, and Darran Jones of Georgetown, KY; several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents, David and Myrtle Hall, she is preceded in death by her husband Otho Phillips; her brothers Donald and Charlie Hall; her sister Geneva Nevels; grandson Brook Jones.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 28, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Southern Oaks Funeral Home. Her funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. with Bro. Chris King and Bro. David Green officiating. Burial will follow at Science Hill Cemetery.
