Sarah Huffman Lockard, age 57 of Liberty, Kentucky, passed from this life on Thursday, October 5, 2023 in Sevierville, TN.

She was born on December 19, 1965 in Whitley City, KY, the daughter of John Lockard and the late Carolyn Worley Lockard.

Sarah was a Licensed Practical Nurse and of the Christian faith. She loved raising flowers, watching the birds and spending time with her grandbabies. She enjoyed traveling to the beach and to Tennessee. Sarah will be sadly missed by all that knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her mother; son, Matthew Francis and a brother, John “Wayne” Lockard, Jr. and an infant sister, Sherri Ann.

She is survived by her father, John Lockard; son, Andrew Francis (Tabitha) of Somerset; stepchildren, Mason Shaw of Columbia, Lexie Luttrell of Liberty, Melinda Luttrell of Liberty, Shane Luttrell of Columbia, Dustin Luttrell of Jamestown, Jason Luttrell of Liberty and Christopher “Robin” Luttrell of Liberty; sister, Cindy Lockard of Somerset; grandchildren, Hunter, Lincoln, Marlee, Skylar, Landen, Carson, Forest, Myles, Carson, Hadley, Grayson, Keiser, Rallings and Ranger. She is also survived by a special nephew, Dakota Lockard.

Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 10, 2023 at Southern Oaks Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home with Bro. Jeff Lockard officiating.

Burial will be in Lakeside Memorial Gardens.
