Roy Lee Edwards, age 72, of Monticello Kentucky, passed away from this life on Wednesday, June 28, 2023 at UK Hospital.

Roy was born on July 27, 1950 to the late Oscar Edwards and Dorothy Daniels Edwards in Monticello, Kentucky.

He enjoyed hunting, working in his garden, camping, fishing, and riding horses. He loved spending time with family just talking and telling jokes. Most of all he loved spending time with his grandsons.

Roy was preceded in death by his parents Oscar and Dorothy Edwards. He was born into a large family of many brothers and sisters.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife of 52 years, Charlene Baker Edwards, daughters, Jennifer Bell (Junior) and Cree Edwards (Steven Dautrich); along with grandchildren Nathan Edwards, Talan Hicks, Tazzie Bell, Isabella and Xander Dautrich.

In accordance with Roy’s final wishes there will be no services. Southern Oaks Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements for Roy Lee Edwards.
