Rhonda K. Compton

Rhonda K. Compton, age 46, of Lexington, Kentucky, formerly of Somerset passed from this life on Friday, October 13, 2017 at the St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington.

She was born September 27, 1971 in Somerset. Daughter of the late Larry “Dale” Back and Mary E. Tucker. She worked in food service. Rhonda was of the Baptist faith. She obtained an Associate’s Degree.

Besides her parents, Ms. Compton is preceded in death by her sisters; Elaina Whitaker and Sheila Hubbard.

She is survived by the father of her children; Terry Compton of Somerset, daughters; Brooke (Aaron) Tarter of Somerset and Tiara (Matthew) Latham of Bronston, stepfather; Tommy Tucker of Bronston, step brothers; Don (Paula) Tucker of Exton, Pennsylvania and Steven Tucker of Somerset, sister; Marla (Dan) Back-Ziegler of Galena, Ohio, granddaughter; Kinsley-Kate Tarter, nieces; Ambria Kerr, Valerie Whitaker-Anderson, Brandi-Jill Whitaker, Hope Baker, Paige Carter, Sheranda Hubbard, Ali Ziegler and Ella Ziegler, nephews; Jordan Whitaker and Hagan Hubbard, a special friend; Russell Edwards and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be on next Sunday, October 22, 2017 from 1:00 to 3:00 pm. In the chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will immediately follow at 3:00 pm in the chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home.
