Priscilla Kay Burton

Priscilla Kay Burton, age 61, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, August 25, 2021. Born January 11, 1960 in Lexington, Priscilla was a longtime resident of Nancy. Priscilla was a loving mother, devoted wife, Memaw, sister, daughter and “Cilla” to all. Her smile could light up a room and her laugh will forever be remembered.

Priscilla married the love of her life, Steven Alan Burton, on October 20, 1978. During their 43 years together, they were blessed with two children, David Scott Burton of Scottsdale, Arizona and Kendra Burton Warf of Nancy. Priscilla became a Memaw on June 4, 2008 when she was blessed with her grandson, Gabriel Isaiah Warf of Nancy.

Priscilla was preceded in death by her father, Fred Scott Burke, and her stepfather, J.W. West. She is survived by her mother, Ova West of Nancy, a sister, Teresa Burke Burton of Nancy, and a brother, Tony West (and Brian) of Sevierville, Tennessee. She loved and cared for a multitude of nieces, nephews, and cousins that she cherished dearly. Priscilla loved children and gave her heart and love to all that she knew.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at 5:00 P.M. in the Chapel of the Southern Oaks Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home with Bro. Jamey Epperson officiating. Burial will follow in Lakeside Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Mark Henderson, Tommy Wilson, Dylan Sisson, Kody Reynolds, Ray Sandusky, Alan Daulton and Donnie Burdine.
