Peggy J. Taylor age 61, of Somerset, Kentucky passed from this life Saturday, July 25, 2020 at the UK Bluegrass Hospice Care Center in Lexington.

Peggy was born June 25, 1959 to the late Emmett Hammons and Delora Rose in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

She was a member of Mt. Victory Baptist Church and enjoyed being a wife, mom, grandma, going for drives in the country, but most of all loved being with her family.

Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, Emmett Hammons and Delora Rose, brothers, JC Hammons, Jeff Hammons, sisters, Ella Prewitt, Bonnie York, Patty Fields, in-laws whom were like parents to her, Abie and Margie Taylor.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband, Marshall Taylor, daughters, Marsha Couch (Terry) of Somerset, Christina Woodall (Shannon) of Somerset, brother, David Hammons (Terri), sisters, Darlene Stinson, Angie Marcum (Rob), Carol Hammons, Janalle McKenney (Bob), Donna York, Ann Solsman (Chris), grandchildren, Tristin Prewitt, Kaylen Wesley (Thomas), Austin Couch, Michael Woodall, John Marshall Mounce, Terrionna Prewitt, great-grandchildren, Maddox, Layne, Millie, Ava, and a host of family and friends to mourn her passing.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 29, 2020 at 6:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be held Thursday, July 30, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. in the Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home with Bro. Raymond Hampton and Bro. Charles Meece officiating.

Burial will follow in the Taylor Cemetery in Mt. Victory, Ky.
