Patricia Ruth Sweeney, age 91 of Nancy, Kentucky passed from this life Friday, December 17, 2021 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.
Patricia was born May 19, 1930 to James Raymond and Laura Buddemeyer Raymond in Cincinnati, Ohio.
She was a member of St. Mildreds Catholic Church and a food pantry Somerset volunteer and St. Mildred’s Clothing Store volunteer.
Patricia was preceded in death by her parents; James and Laura Raymond and her husband, Richard T. Sweeney. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her sons, Michael Sweeney, Joseph Sweeney and Thomas R. Sweeney (Candy) all of Cincinnati, OH; daughter, Mary E. Hamilton (Steve) of Somerset, Ky; brothers, James Raymond (Betty) of Crescent Springs, Ky; Thomas Raymond (Carol) of Indianapolis, IN; 9 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 26, 2021 at 6 P.M. in the Chapel of the Southern Oaks Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held on Monday, December 27, 2021 at 12 P.M. at St. Mildreds Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Mill Springs National Cemetery in Nancy, Kentucky.
Southern Oaks Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements for Patricia Ruth Sweeney.
