Patricia Ann Ping

Patricia Ann Ping, age 66 of Somerset, Kentucky, passed from this life on Friday, December 3, 2021 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.

She was born on September 27, 1955 in Somerset, daughter of the late Paul Ledbetter and Wanda Placke Wesley.

She was a member of Cumberland Missionary Baptist Church. After 45 years of dedicated service, she retired from Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital where she had worked in the Pharmacy. Pat enjoyed going shopping and she loved her dog, Halo.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Dennis Ping.

She is survived by her son, Richard Ping of Somerset; granddaughter, Cadence Ping; uncle, Joseph (Katy) Placke; and special cousins, Alan Placke, Chris and Deborah Placke, and Michael and Allison Gregg.

Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 6, 2021 in the Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home with Bro. Raymond Ridener officiating. Inurnment will be in Southern Oaks Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the American Diabetes Association.
