Odessa “Pat” Curry

Odessa “Pat” Curry, age 91, of Somerset, Kentucky passed from this life on Friday, January 13, 2023 at Hospice of Lake Cumberland.

Pat was born on August 18, 1931 to the late Robert Perry and Lucy Burkhard Perry in Virginia.

She was of the Baptist faith and Member of East Brow Baptist Church in Flat Rock, Alabama, loved to color and spend time with her family and friends.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents; sons, Scotty Curry and Jimmy Dean Curry; brothers, Crit Perry and Richard Perry; sisters, Jeneva Perry, Anna May Bolton, Maggie Perry, Holly Perry, Midge Perry, Lucille West, grandchildren, Cindy and James; great-grandchildren, Dylan Hislope, Siera Johnson and John Cameron.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her son, Larry (Fran) Curry of Cleveland, TN; daughters, Carole (Max) Janow of Somerset, Ky; Teressa Curry of Somerset, Ky; Shirley (Gary) Price of Ferguson, Ky; sisters, Gerthalene (Jack) Wright of GA; Geraldine Walden of Cincinnati, OH and Nadean Kelly of London, Ky; grandchildren, Gary, Micah, James, Wayne, Camie, Travis, Casey, and Kenny; special granddaughter, Teresa Price; along with many great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 from 12 to 2 P.M. in the Chapel of the Southern Oaks Funeral Home with a funeral service to begin at 2 P.M. with Bro. Jason Moore officiating. Burial will follow in the Southern Oaks Cemetery. Southern Oaks Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements for Odessa “Pat” Curry.
