Norma Coner

Norma Coner, age 84, of Somerset, Kentucky passed from this life Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at her home.

Norma was born May 1, 1938 to Charlie Thompson and Armilda Wesley Thompson in Mintonville, Kentucky.

She was of the Protestant Christian faith and she enjoyed to garden, tend to her fish pond and she loved raising her animals and her furbabies. She cherished her family.

Norma was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Armilda Thompson, son, Trampis Coner, siblings, Jerrell Thompson, Fred Thompson, James Thompson, Evelyn Yaden, Genece Daulton and Ben Thompson.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her son, Travis Coner of Somerset; daughters, Deborah Luttrell of OK; Sandra Coner of Somerset; Lynn Mayfield of Somerset; Vickie (Howdy) Calder of Somerset; siblings, Faye Harper, Edna Burkhart, Donna Mink, Ronnie Thompson, Guritha Beshears, Merrell Thompson, Marsha Chaney, Felecia Armstrong; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, she was blessed to enjoy being a great great grandmother; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Also, her close friends she acquired through out her lifetime.

Memorial service will be held on Friday, July 8, 2022 from 10 A.M. to 12 P.M. in the Chapel of the Southern Oaks Funeral Home. Southern Oaks Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements for Norma Coner.
