Mrs. Anna L. Whitaker age, 81, of Somerset, Kentucky, passed from this life on Monday, August 3, 2020 in her home.

Anna was born December 9, 1938 to the late Bill & Susie Moore Childress in Rockcastle County, Kentucky.

She accepted Our Lord & Savoir Jesus Christ and was baptized in to Christ at the Evendale First Church of God in Cincinnati, Ohio. She loved to shop, tend her garden, vacation, and Blue Grass music.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Carl Gene Whitaker of Somerset, Kentucky; children, Ronda J. D’Erminio (Dan) of Cincinnati, Ohio, Jeffrey L. Whitaker (Lynn) of Seymour, TN; sister, Wanda Burnett of Lockland, Ohio; grandchildren, Bobbie Edwards, Stephanie Leming (Michael), Angela Edwards, Corey Whitaker, Heather Cromer and Natalie Alshaikh Ali (Mohammad) and 10 great- grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her loving daughter, Vickey Edwards and 13 brothers and sisters.

A private family service will be held Friday, August 7, 202Friday, August 7, 2020 at the Southern Oaks Funeral Home with Bro. Danny Brummett officiating.

Burial will be in the Whitaker Cemetery.
