Mike Shelton

Mike Shelton, age 59, of Somerset, Kentucky passed from this life Friday, October 29, 2021 at Ephraim McDowell Hospital in Danville, Kentucky.

Mike was born September 10, 1962 to Don Shelton and Mary McGibbons Shelton in Cincinnati, Ohio.

He was of the Baptist faith and he liked to ride motorcycles and four wheelers. He cherished his boys and grandkids.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Don and Mary Shelton; brothers, David Shelton and Billy Jo Shelton; sisters, Tammy Shelton and Donna Bruner.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife, Amanda Shelton; sons, John Morehouse (Nora) of Louisville; Terry Shelton of Crab Orchard; Don Shelton Jr. of Crab Orchard; Cole Shelton of Somerset; stepson, Blane Walden; brothers, Mark Shelton and Robert Shelton; sisters, Vickie Steinmetz and Dusty Sharp; grandchildren, Briana Shelton, Bianca Shelton, Kelan Shelton, Joshua Morehouse and great-grand baby on the way.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. in the Chapel of the Southern Oaks Funeral Home with a funeral service to begin at 3:00 P.M. with Bro. Brian Plants officiating. Burial will follow in Southern Oaks Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Mike Shelton Memorial Fund.
