Michael W. “Bert” Troxtle, age 58, of Somerset, Kentucky passed away from this life on Thursday, February 22nd, 2024.

Bert was born in Somerset February 7, 1966, to the Gola and Betty (Neeley) Troxtle.

Bert enjoyed hunting and fishing with his son.  He loved working outside around his home. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his mom and helping her with things around the house.  He enjoyed the Summer Night Cruise and music.

He was preceded in death by his father Gola W. Troxtle.

He leaves behind to treasure his memory wife of 39 years, Angela (Jennings) Troxtle; son Jordan Troxtle; mother Betty Troxtle; sisters Ilene Parker of Chicago, IL, Connie Troxtle of Somerset, Rita (Jeff) Colyer, Sheila Troxtle of Somerset, Ruby Troxtle of Somerset, Beverly Troxtle of Somerset; nieces and nephews J.R. (Amber) Parker, Jason Troxtle, Brandon (Alisha) Scott, Tyler (Elanndra) Colyer, Misty (Aaron) Wilson, Martin Jennings, Mark Calhoun Jr., Eric (Caitlyn) Crowder, Jacob Jennings, Vanessa Jennings, Haley and Brevin Jones, Abby Crowder, Angelia and Akira Scott, Gracie Griffith, Natalie Colyer, Brady and Kady Parker, Mirelle Wilson; and many more great nieces and nephews; a few special brothers because he didn’t have any, Mark Calhoun, Danny “Bones” Jennings, Jeff Colyer, and Marty Flynn; and a special co-worker Jesse Neal.

He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Visitation service will be Monday, February 26, 2024 at 5pm in the Chapel at Southern Oaks Funeral Home with a Funeral service on Tuesday, February 27, 2024 11 a.m.  Burial will follow in Slate Branch Cemetery beside the Slate Branch Baptist Church in Pulaski Co, KY.

Officiant will be Bro. Aaron Wilson.
