Michael L. Tully

Michael L. Tully, age 76 of Burnside, Kentucky, passed from this life on Monday, November 4, 2019 at his residence.

He was born on May 8, 1943 in Oakland, California, son of the late Leonard S. Jr. and Margaret Wilson Tully.

He loved fishing, wildlife and his pets. He had a big heart for animals and enjoyed watching and feeding the deer that came into his yard. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy and was a member of Central Christian Church in Lexington. Michael will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife; Mary Tully, two stepsons; Donnie Sims of Florida and Eddie Sims of Burnside, one brother; Leonard S. Tully III of Burnside, two sisters; Kathy Brooking of Florida and Gayle Machmer of Lexington.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that contributions be made to the Pulaski County Humane Society.

Southern Oaks Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements for Michael L. Tully.
