McKenzie Hargis

McKenzie Hargis age 35, of Bronston, Kentucky passed from this life Sunday, November 29, 2020 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.

McKenzie was born November 20, 1985 to Ricky Williams and Carolyn McClendon Simpson in Somerset, Kentucky.

She was a member of West Bronston Baptist Church and graduated from Midway College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education. McKenzie enjoyed working her farm, canning, gardening, nature, an animal lover, grew the most beautiful flowers and cherished her family. Her daughters where the light of her life and she loved them dearly.

McKenzie leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband, Clark Hargis, her mother, Carolyn Simpson and was lovingly raised by her step-father, Jim Simpson, daughters, Abigail June Hargis and Amelia Grace Hargis.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at 12:00 P.M. in the Chapel of the Southern Oaks Funeral Home with a funeral service to begin at 1:00 P.M. with Bro. James Mills officiating, burial will follow in Southern Oaks Cemetery.
