Mary Kay Patterson

Mary Kay Patterson, age 82 of Somerset, Kentucky, passed from this life on Wednesday, November 6, 2019 at Hospice of Lake Cumberland.

She was born on April 4, 1937 in Shelbyville, Indiana, daughter of the late Carl William and Thelma Tucker Bausback.

She was the former owner and operator of U Name It Variety in Somerset.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; Richard Allen Patterson, son; Ricky Patterson, granddaughter; Sammy Joe Sears and a brother; Max D. Bausback.

She is survived by five sons; Carl Hash of Somerset, Robert Phillip Patterson of Bakersville, CA, Merrill Emery Patterson of Somerset, Hugh Brian Patterson of Somerset and John Wayne Roberts, three daughters; Martha Jane (Garry Noe) Crowder of Somerset, Susan Renee (Joseph) Adams of Greenwood, IN and Anita Dawn (Tommy) Bingham of Somerset, two sisters; Karlene Bausback of Greensburg, IN and Nancy Kuhn of Rushville, IN, eighteen grandchildren, twenty-four great-grandchildren and many foster grandchildren.

Visitation will begin at 5:30 P.M. on Friday, November 8, 2019 in the Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home with funeral service to be held at 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home with Allen Floyd officiating.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that contributions be made to the Mary Kay Patterson Memorial Fund, C/O Southern Oaks Funeral Home.
