Linda Lee Hundley

Linda Lee Hundley, age 68 of Somerset, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, October 21, 2021 at her home.

She was born on October 9, 1953 in Davenport, Iowa, daughter of the late Jack and Florence Kasparian.

She was a member of Oak Hill Baptist Church. She was a retired Registered Nurse and Co-Owner and Operator of Hundley Excavating.  She had served as a Prenatal Assistant and Instructor for Dr. Priddle, and was also a Lamaze Instructor. She was a home Health Nurse, served as a nurse for a disaster and relief assistance program, was a volunteer for the Awana Program, a volunteer for Shopville Fire Department, and was a Sunday School Teacher for toddlers. She enjoyed fishing.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband; John Hundley, whom she married on February 9, 1973, her son; Caleb Hundley of Slate Branch, brother Jack Kasparian of Florida, sisters; Sophie Hall of Florida and Harriet McGowan (Jeff) of Somerset. She is also survived by a special friend Cindy (Dave) Hinz of Jamestown, North Dakota.

Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, October 25, 2021 in the Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home with funeral services to be held at 1:00 p.m. with Dr. Harold Brown and Bro. Gary Phelps officiating. Burial will be in Southern Oaks Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Hospice of Lake Cumberland.
