Lewis Dalton

Lewis Dalton, age 67 of Somerset, Kentucky, passed from this life on Thursday, February 23, 2023 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.

He was born on October 14, 1955 in Somerset, Kentucky, son of Corena Fox Dalton and the late William Beecher Dalton. He was of the Baptist faith and loved watching UK Basketball, fishing, and working on cars. Most of all, Lewis loved and cherished his family.

He was preceded in death by his father.

He is survived by his mother, Corena Fox Dalton of Nancy; his partner in life of twenty-five years, Darlene Kennedy of Somerset; Shaun Skaarp, whom he loved like a son; brothers, Jimmy B. (Sharon) Dalton of Nancy; and Danny L. (Sharon) Dalton of Nancy; sisters, Loretta Sue Dalton of Grayson, Ga; and Karen (Allen) Tilley of Nancy; a special sister, Sandy Golden; a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. on

Southern Oaks Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Bro. Joseph Warren officiating. Burial will be in Piney Grove Cemetery #2.
