Jeurene Dalton Hendrickson

On October 5, 2017, Leurene Dalton Hendrickson, age 95, passed away peacefully at the home of her oldest son, Robert Hendrickson and his wife Carmella of Nancy, Kentucky surrounded by her son and his family.

She is preceded in death by her husband, John Lee Hendrickson, her parents Joseph and Ottis Woods Dalton, and her brothers and sisters. She was born on May 3, 1922 in Fork Ridge, Tennessee.

Leurene was of the Baptist faith. She was a homemaker and loved reading, fishing and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her eight children and their spouses; Gladys Hendrickson Markesbury (Nelson Howard Markesbury) of Newnan, GA, Robert L. Hendrickson (Carmella Morris Hendrickson) of Nancy, KY, Charlie R. Hendrickson (Cheri Lemaster Hendrickson) of Senoia, GA, Donald E. Hendrickson (Alice Stagnoli Hendrickson) of Navarre, FL, Viola R. Hendrickson Kirkpatrick (Keith Kirkpatrick) of Dayton, OH, Paul S. Hendrickson (Karen Lewis Hendrickson) of Cumberland, KY, Billy W. Hendrickson (Melody Belding Hendrickson) of Fayetteville, GA, Thomas J. Hendrickson (Sharon Farmer Hendrickson) of Soddy Daisy, TN. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be on Monday, October 9, 2017 beginning at 5:00 P.M.in the Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home, with funeral services to follow at 6:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

Graveside Services will be Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. EST at Huff-Monte Vista Cemetery, Monte-Vista Cemetery Road, Cumberland, Kentucky.
