Larry Wayne Cox

A private family graveside service will be held at Bronston Cemetery.

Larry Wayne Cox, age 72 of Somerset, Kentucky, passed from this life on Thursday, December 30, 2021, at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.

Wayne was born on July 31, 1949 in Burnside, Kentucky to the late Rufus Orville Cox and Ruby M. Colyer Cox Tucker. Wayne was a graduate of Burnside High School and the University of the Cumberlands. Wayne retired as a teacher and coach from Pulaski County Schools.

Wayne was survived by his 2 sons, John (Tammy Cantrell) Cox of Somerset and Mike (Lisa) Cox of Somerset; 2 grandchildren, Taylor (Brett) Wright of Shelbyville and Trenton Cox of Somerset; one brother, Steve Cox; 3 stepbrothers, Larry Tucker, Charley Tucker, and JC Tucker; and a host of friends. Wayne was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 8, 2022 from 11 A.M. to 1 P.M. in the Chapel of the Southern Oaks Funeral Home.

A private family graveside service will be held at Bronston Cemetery. Southern Oaks Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.
