Larry Dillon Cook

Larry “Dillon” Cook, age 28 of Somerset, Kentucky passed from this life Wednesday, April 8, 2020 at Fort Carson Colorado.

Dillon was born July 16, 1991 to Larry Cook and Nancy Laugherty King in Somerset, Kentucky.

He was of the Baptist faith and a Southwestern High School Graduate. He completed his Associates degree at SCC and then furthered his education at EKU, he was an avid gun collector, and a Sergeant in the U.S. Army.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Eva Artis.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his parents, Larry Cook of Nancy and Nancy King of Somerset, wife, Kimberley Cook of Fort Carson, Colorado, sisters, Grace Puckett of Nancy, Lois West (Curt) of Nancy, and Barbara Clark (James) of Nancy.

A drive through visitation will be held Friday, May 1, 2020 at 2:00 to 4:30 P.M. at Southern Oaks Funeral Home. In accordance with COVID19 guidelines, we ask that you stay in your vehicle during the drive through visitation. A Memorial service will be held at a later date. A private burial will be held in the Southern Oaks Cemetery.
