Kayla Delay

Kayla Delay, age 31, of Science Hill, Kentucky passed from this life on Saturday, March 11, 2023 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.

Kayla was born on April 23, 1991 to Bradly Young and Tina Meece Boyer in Somerset, Kentucky.

She enjoyed listening to music, spending time outdoors, camping and hiking. She loved her family.

Kayla was preceded in death by her infant twin sons, Christian and Tristian Young; grandparents, Doris Meece, Voicey Meece; cousin, Keshia Smith; stepmom, Mary young and uncle, Alvin Meece.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her parents, Bradley Young and Tina Boyer, husband, Shane Delay, sons, Shane Christopher Delay and Preston Delay of Somerset, Ky; brothers, Ryan Sellars (Bailey Stringer) of Somerset, Ky; Dakota Young; sisters, Brittney (Michael) Armes of Burnside, Ky; Ashley Sellers of Monticello, Ky; stepsisters, Tammy Neal and Nicole Neal; cousins, Vanessa Molen and Eric Molen; aunt, Ola Meece; uncles, William Meece, Marty Meece, and JR Meece; along with many nieces, nephews and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Southern Oaks Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements for Kayla Delay.
