Kathy L. Rome

Kathy L. Rome, age 67, of Monticello, Kentucky, passed from this life on Thursday, September 14, 2023 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.

Kathy was born on February 6, 1956 to Dick Stauffer and Margaret Urich Stauffer in Battle Creek, Michigan.

She was of the Methodist faith. She loved to cook, bake and looked forward to holiday get togethers. She enjoyed reading romance novels. She will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her.

Kathy was preceded in death by her mother, Margaret Stauffer. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her husband of 42 years, John Rome, her father, Dick Stauffer, daughters, Michelle Rome (Jody) of Vicksburg, MI; Catrina Rome (Traci Tucker) of Somerset, Ky; brother, Michael Stauffer (Crystal) and sister, Susan DiGioia (Nick)

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date by the family. Southern Oaks Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements for Kathy L. Rome.
