Judy Acey, age 81, of Science Hill, Kentucky, passed from this life on Friday, June 9, 2023 at the Jean Waddle Care Center

Judy was born on March 25, 1942 to the late William Garland and Josephine Smith in Cannon, Kentucky.

She enjoyed camping, hiking and working in her garden. She loved spending time outdoors and cherished her family.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Earl Acey, son, Randy Acey, brothers, Ben Garland, Parker Garland, sisters, Jewel McDonald and Pauline Lowe.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her sons, Morgan Acey (and wife), Carson Acey (Peggy Thacker-Acey), Roger Acey (and wife) and Tony Acey; daughter, Lecia Acey, sister, Helen Smith, grandchildren, Daphne Deneil Witt, Cassie Acey Ackerman, Catelyn Acey Kindell and Cara Acey.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 14, 2023 from 11 AM to 1 PM in the Chapel of the Southern Oaks Funeral Home with a funeral service to begin at 1 PM at the funeral home with Bro. Lester Randolph officiating. Burial will follow in Shady Grove Cemetery. Southern Oaks Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements for Judy Acey.
