Joyce Roberts

Joyce Roberts, age 80, of Nancy, Kentucky, passed from this life
on Friday, September 1, 2023.

Joyce was born on December 5, 1942, to Ralph and Reba Taylor
Roberts in Naomi, Kentucky.

She was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church in Nancy,
Kentucky. She graduated from Nancy High School in 1961. Then
attended Lindsey Wilson College and Campbellsville University
where she graduated in 1965 with a teaching degree. She also
attended Kentucky Business College receiving a diploma in
accounting. She enjoyed spending time with family and
traveling with them.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Reba
Roberts, and her nephew Walter Roberts.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her brother Garry
(Mary) Roberts of Nancy, KY; her sister Sharon (Bill) Burge of
Somerset, KY; Nieces; Veronica (Kenny) Vaughn of London, KY;
and Regina (Junior) Fortenberry of Nancy, KY; and Nephews;
Shane Cundiff of Somerset, KY; and Steven (Jennifer) Johnson of
Nancy, KY. Great nieces and nephews; Brittany, Jordon, and
Taylor Vaughn, Shannon, Cody, and Nevaeh Roberts, Tyler,
Elizabeth, and Aven Cundiff, Shana Ware, Devin Fortenberry,
Dillon, and Lacy Johnson.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 8, 2023 from 10:30am-12:30pm in the Chapel of the Southern Oaks Funeral Home with a funeral service to begin at 12:30pm with Bro. Isaiah Super officiating. Burial will follow in Lakeside Memorial Gardens. Southern Oaks Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements for Joyce Roberts
