Joyce Ann Dalton Craig

Joyce Ann Dalton Craig, age 76, of Slate Branch Community, passed from this life Monday, February 24, 2020 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.

Joyce was born June 5, 1943 to the late Dan Dalton and Lena Floyd Dalton in Illinois.

She was a member of Slate Branch Baptist Church, and enjoyed cooking, gardening, housekeeping and her pets.

Joyce was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Gene Daulton.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her sons, Robert Jones (Carol) of LaGrange, Ky; Paul D. Jones of  Slate Branch Community; brother, Louie Dalton (Katie) of Slate Branch Community; sisters, Faye McIntosh of LaGrange, Ky; Freda Cundiff (Bob) of Somerset; aunt, Wilma Floyd Girdler of Slate Branch Community; sister-in-law, Judy Daulton of Slate Branch Community; two grandchildren, Jessica Marie and Whitney Michelle, and several nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Visitation will be held Thursday, February 27, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. in the Chapel of the Southern Oaks Funeral Home with a funeral service to begin at 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home with Bro. Bill Dawson officiating.

Pallbearers will be Gary Coomer, Rocky Coomer, Brian Dalton, Joshua D. New, Richard D. New, Michael Ridner, and Delane New.

Burial will be in the Floyd Family Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Joyce Craig Memorial Monument Fund.

Southern Oaks Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements for Joyce Ann Dalton Craig.
