Joshua Paul Jones

Joshua Paul Jones, age 41, of Somerset, Kentucky, passed from this life on Monday, August 12, 2019.

He was born on June 3, 1978 in Somerset, the son of Vickie Ridener Jones and the late Chuck Jones.

He worked for Buyer’s Paradise and enjoyed fishing and going to the game room. Josh was a big cut up and loved to make people laugh. He was a member of Cumberland Missionary Baptist Church and will always be loved and missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his father.

He is survived by his mother; Vickie Jones of Somerset, brother; Jason Jones of Somerset and a half- brother; Michael Smith of Somerset, step-sisters; Rella Newell and Michelle (Walt) Pederson, a special friend; Amanda Eden of Somerset; also Dale Woodward and JJ Woodward who were like his sons, aunts; Mary Salyer, Linda Reed, Betty Harper, Nancy Jones and Anna Glover, uncles; Eddie Adkins, Clint (Mary Lou) Ridener and Coy (Trish) Ridener.

A Celebration of Life Service will Saturday, August 17, 2019 from 3 to 4 P.M. with a funeral service to begin at 4 P.M. with Bro. Raymond Ridner officiating.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Joshua Jones Memorial Fund, C/O Southern Oaks Funeral Home.
