Jimmy R. Foster

Jimmy R. Foster, age 66 of Monticello, Kentucky, passed from this life on Wednesday, November 20, 2019 at Hospice of Lake Cumberland.
He was born on October 13, 1953 in Wayne County, Kentucky, son of the late Willie and Alta Cox Foster.
Jimmy was the former owner and operator of Clear Creek Service Center and a former school bus driver for Wayne County School Systems. He enjoyed being a musician and played in multiple bands, including Gold River Band. He was of the Baptist faith and he will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother; Donald Foster.
He is survived by one daughter; Rebecca Stockton of Monticello, two brothers; Danny Foster and Bobby (Margie) Foster, all of Monticello, two aunts; Gloria Pyles and Dorothy Troxell, both of Monticello, grandchildren; Haley Stockton and Courtney Stockton and great-grandchildren; Jacob Saunders, Alec Saunders, Ashtyn Saunders, Bryleigh Stockton and Brynli Crabtree.
Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 23, 2019 in the Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home with funeral service to be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home with Bro. Ernest Mann officiating. Burial will be in Elk Springs Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Jimmy Foster Memorial Fund, C/O Southern Oaks Funeral Home.
