Jewell Lester

Jewell Lester, age 76, of Burnside, Kentucky, passed from this life on Thursday, November 24, 2022 at her home.

Jewell was born on September 5, 1946 in Livingston, Tennessee.

She enjoyed walking, she loved her dogs especially her furbaby “Sammy”. Most of all she cherished her family.

Jewell was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Lester, son, Steven Lester. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her daughter, Lisa New (Jennings Hoskins) of Burnside, Ky; brother, Gordon (Kim) Booher of TN; grandchildren, Tommy (Heather New of Burnside, Ky; great-grandchildren, Chandler New, Aubree New, Madison Ballou and Abbie Ballou.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Jewell Lester Memorial Fund.

Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Southern Oaks Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements for Jewell Lester.
