Jessie L. Cook age 61, of Russell Springs, Kentucky passed from this life Sunday, January 3, 2021 at Russell County Hospital.

Jessie was born June 2, 1959 to Jessie Cook Jr. and Dorothy Bingham Colyer in Somerset, Kentucky.

He was of the Christian faith and loved to build, watch westerns, but most of all cherished his family

Jessie was preceded in death by his father, Jessie Cook Jr. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his mother, Dorothy Colyer of Somerset, his wife of 11 years, Kathy Grider Cook, sons, Scott Cook (Lilla) of Somerset, Billy Cook (Amanda) of Somerset, daughter, Hannah Grider of Russell Springs, brothers, Brad Cook and Kyle Cook, sisters, Brenda Cook, Sherry Seward, Patty Cook, Anita Chumbley, Tabatha Waters, Jessica, grandchildren, Madison, Logan, Keelan, Kristan, Kevin Cook and Brandalyn Polson.

Visitation will be held Thursday, January 7, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. in the Chapel of the Southern Oaks Funeral Home with a funeral service to begin at 1:00 P.M. with Bro. Barry Bradshaw officiating, burial will follow in Southern Oaks Cemetery. Southern Oaks Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements for Jessie L. Cook.
