Jerry Lynn New

Jerry Lynn New, age 67, of Eubank, Kentucky passed from this life Wednesday, April 13, 2022 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.

Jerry was born February 8, 1955 to Estel New and Roberta Renner New in Pulaski County, Kentucky.

He was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed going to Eubank Senior Center. He enjoyed spending time with family especially his children and grandchildren.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Estel and Roberta New, brothers, Billy Joe New, Donnie New, Gary New, sisters, Rita Kay Godbey, Susie Moran and Sara New.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife, Debbie New; sons, Bryan Shawn New (Lana) of Somerset; Travis Lynn New of Louisville, Ky; daughter, Julie Decker of Shopville, Ky; mother in law, Mary Decker of Eubank, Ky; brother in law, Larry Decker of Somerset; sister in law, Kathy Patscheck (Arthur) of Somerset; grandchildren, Anna Ranae New and Raegan Brooke New; special pet, “Buttons” along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, April 18, 2022 from 5 to 7 P.M. in the Chapel of the Southern Oaks Funeral Home. Southern Oaks Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements for Jerry Lynn New.
