Janice Elaine Shelton, age 56, of Nancy, Kentucky, passed from this life on Sunday, June 9, 2019 at her home.

She was born on February 15, 1963 in Somerset, daughter of the late Timothy and Dorothy Loveless Abbott.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter Sunshine Dawn Marie Beal; and four brothers, Wilbur Don Abbott, Lloyd Timothy Abbott, Gilbert Wayne Abbott and Mitchell Ray Abbott.

She is survived by her son David D. Nevels (Stephanie) of Jacksonville, Florida; a daughter, Angela Chirrsy Helm of Somerset; her fiancé, William Fox of Nancy; two brothers, Larry Abbott (Janice Singleton) of Science Hill and Eddie Abbott (JoAnn) of Michigan; and two sisters, Ruth McMullen of Science Hill and Vivian Nevels of Somerset.

Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 15, 2019 in the Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home with funeral service to be held at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
