James E. Goff

James E. Goff age 72, of Somerset, Kentucky passed from this life Saturday, June 20, 2020 at Kindred Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky.

James was born October 19, 1947 to Thelma Goff in Somerset, Kentucky.

He was of the Baptist faith and loved to fish, tinkering and scraping, but most of all cherished his family time.

James was preceded in death by his mother, Thelma Goff and son, Rodney Goff.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife of 50 years, Maggie Goff, sons, Hershel Goff (Debbie) of Somerset, Marty Goff (Mary) of Somerset, brothers, Bobby Goff of Somerset, Harry Goff of Lexington, sisters, Mary Goff of Somerset, Pearl Beshear (Don) of Somerset, eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 23, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. in the Chapel of the Southern Oaks Funeral Home with a funeral service to begin at 1:00 P.M. with Bro. Dallas Burton officiating.

Burial will be in the Goff Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the James E. Goff Memorial Fund.
