James Burton

James Burton age 68, of Somerset, Kentucky passed from this life on Monday, January 8, 2024 at his home.

James was born on June 30, 1955 to the late Charles Burton and Thelma Lyons Eastman in Somerset, Kentucky.

He was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed fishing and watching the Green Bay Packers football. He liked to trade automobiles but, most of all he cherished his family.

James was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Burton, his parents, Charles Burton and Thelma Eastman, brothers, Charles Burton, Waylan Burton and sister, Diana Burton.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his sons, James Burton (Angel) of Burnside, Ky; Christopher Burton (Shannon) of Somerset, Ky; Charles Burton of Somerset, Ky; Dustin Burton of Elizabethtown, Ky; daughters, Rossetta Morgan of Somerset, Ky; Tonya Burton Price of Burnside, Ky; mother of his children, Anna Dewane; along with 10 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

Graveside service will be held on Tuesday, January 16, 2024 at 1:30pm at Mill Springs National Cemetery.
