Herbert Lee Morrow

Herbert Lee Morrow age 87 of Somerset, Kentucky passed from this life Monday, September 16, 2019 at the Jean Waddle Care Center.
Herbert was born September 22, 1931 to the late Luther Morrow and Vada Owens Morrow in Hilltop, Kentucky.
He married his wife Maggie Jane Goff Morrow March 24, 1962 in Dayton, Ohio. He was a retired truck driver for 30 plus years with North American Van Lines. He was a believer of God, the creator of all things, and enjoyed traveling, but most of all spending time with his family.
Herbert was preceded in death by his parents; stepmother, Dorothy New Morrow Garland; stepfather, Norman Lee Garland; brother, Kelly Morrow; sister, Marjorie Young.
He is survived by his wife, Maggie Jane Morrow; daughter, Catherine D. Morrow of Hermosa Beach, CA; Tricia A. Morrow Chapman (David) of Upton, MA; brothers, Larry Morrow (Mary Jane) of Somerset; Benny “Pete” Garland (Sherry) of Jamestown, Ky; Estes Morrow of Cumming, GA; sisters, Wanda Nevels (Silas) of Somerset; Helen Freeman of Somerset; two grandchildren, David Chapman, and Kyrsten Chapman.
Visitation will be Thursday, September 19, 2019 from 6 to 8 P.M. in the Chapel of the Southern Oaks Funeral Home.
A funeral service will be held Friday, September 20, 2019 at 12:00 Noon in the Chapel of the Southern Oaks Funeral Home.
Military Honors will be conducted by the American Legion Honor Guard Post #38.
Burial will be in the Southern Oaks Cemetery.
