Ginelle Alaine Locke Jones age 33, of Somerset, Kentucky passed from this life Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at UK Health Care in Lexington, Kentucky.

Ginelle was born on December 6, 1986 to Daniel A. Locke Jr. and Karen Shannon in Simi Valley, California.

She attended Heritage Hope Church of God and enjoyed softball, the outdoors, boating, motorcycling and horseback riding. There is nothing more in this world that she loved than being a loving mother to her son, L.J.. Ginelle is very loved by everybody she met, family and being a big sister was very important, she was big hearted. She loved laughing and making everyone laugh with her.

Ginelle leaves behind to cherish her memory, her father who she admired deeply, Daniel and Betty Lou Locke of Somerset, mother, Karen Shannon or California, husband, Jacob Jones of Somerset, son, Jerry “L.J.” Wilson of Somerset, brothers, Daniel III and Amber Locke of Bronston, Eric Simpson of California, sister, Angela Posey of Lexington, nephews, Carson Simpson, Raider Locke, niece, Bailey Locke. Also survived by families: Jones, Shannon, Locke, and Simpson families of California along with the Reynolds and Miller families of Kentucky.

Due to COVID-19 guidelines a Private service will be held at Southern Oaks Funeral Home with Bro. Johnny Dunbar officiating, burial will follow in Southern Oaks Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy can be made to Heritage Hope Church of God, 810 E Bourne Ave, Somerset, Kentucky 42501.
