George Bullock Jr., age 79, of Somerset, Kentucky passed from this life Friday, November 26, 2021 at Cumberland Nursing and Rehab.

George was born March 21, 1942 to George Bullock Sr. and Mary Haynes Bullock in Burnside, Kentucky.

George enjoyed watching basketball and woodworking on projects.

George was preceded in death by his parents, George and Mary Bullock and sister, Shirley Bullock-Allen. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his sons, James Randall Bullock (Lisa) of Lexington, Ky; Thomas D. Bullock (Nichole) of Frankfort, Ky; Hawk Prather of Bronston, Ky; daughter, Melissa SundQuist (Bjorn) of SC; grandson, Dustin Turner (Erica) and grandchildren, Gracie Kolb and Courtney Coomers; along with great-grandkids, Zeth Rylund Kolb and Kinzley Grace Kolb.

Visitation will be held Thursday, December 2, 2021 from 12 to 2 P.M. in the Chapel of the Southern Oaks Funeral Home with a funeral service to begin at 2 P.M. with Bro. Henry Prather officiating. Burial will follow in Southern Oaks Cemetery. Southern Oaks Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements for George Bullock Jr.
