Gayle Logan

Monday, October 5, 2020 – 12:00 P.M.

Gayle Logan age 69, (nee Allen) of Somerset, Kentucky passed from this life surrounded by love and family on Sunday, September 27, 2020 at UK Bluegrass Hospice Care Center in Lexington. 

Gayle was born on July 3, 1951 to Garnett Davidson and Bonnie Allen Collins in London, Kentucky. 

Gayle was preceded in death by her father, Garnett Davidson, her husband, John Logan, brothers, Kenneth Nolan, Timothy Davidson, Roger Davidson, sisters, Felisha Hall, Terri Davidson and Joan Davidson and uncle Mel Akers . 

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her mother, Bonnie Collins, son, Kris Gilbert (Melissa) of Somerset, brothers, Kyle Davidson (Karen), Kevin Davidson (Barb), sisters, Cheryl Noble (Buddy), Teresa Atkins (Shane), Carolyn Hensley (Brian), Tracy Bingham (Russell), grandchildren, Kelley Wilson (Jordan), Shon Gilbert, Kenzee Gilbert, several aunts including Aunt Freda Akers, Uncle Larry Hyden, nieces and nephews, cousins Debi Akers, Alia Shubaily, Dana Shubaily and Raad Shubaily, many beloved friends, two very special life-long friends, Vicki Meadows and Judy Rice Eaton. She will be greatly missed.  

She worked a total of 30 years at the Kentucky Highway Department where she had many deep and lasting friendships.

She was an active member of Oak Hill Baptist Church, loved to worship the Lord and spread his word and cherished her family as well as her Church family.  

A Celebration of Life will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Monday, October 5, 2020 with Bro. Gary Phelps officiating in the Chapel of the Southern Oaks Funeral Home.
