Gary Lee Madden

Gary Lee Madden, age 70, of Stanford, Kentucky passed from this life Wednesday, September 7, 2022 at his home.

Gary was born November 8, 1951 to John Calvin Madden and Nellie Mae Short Madden in Richmond, Kentucky.

He was a member of Ephesus Baptist Church of Crab Orchard, Ky and he was an avid UK Basketball fan, NASCAR racing fan and enjoyed bowling. He married his wife, Beverly Sutton Madden on September 21, 1979 in Jelico, Tennessee.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Bobby Madden and sister, Carolyn Sue Kirkhouse. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife, Beverly Madden, sisters, Myrtle Rae Jones, Jeannie Foster and Kimberly Madden all of Richmond, Ky; nephew, Curtis (Beth) Sutton of Lexington, Ky; along with like family, Steve Spears of Crab Orchard, Ky and his special pet cat, “Patches”. A very special thank you to Heritage Hospice for their care.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 10, 2022 from 9 to 11 A.M. at Ephesus Baptist Church with a Memorial service to begin at 11 A.M. at the church with Bro. Jonathan Grizzell and Bro. Jamie Turner officiating. Burial will follow in Ephesus Baptist Church Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Heritage Hospice. Southern Oaks Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements for Gary Lee Madden.
