Fern Robinson

Fern Robinson, age 90, of Bronston, Kentucky, passed from this life on Monday, August 14, 2023 at Somerset Nursing and Rehab.

Fern was born on June 6, 1933 to the late Isaac Holbrook and Minnie Keeton Holbrook in Breathitt County, Kentucky.

She was a member of First Baptist Church of Bronston. She enjoyed quilting, reading and going to church. She will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her.

Fern was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Selbert Halbrook, brothers, Buford, Dennsly, Tennsley and James, sisters, Lula, Della, Lillie and Jane.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her son, Guy Early (Linda), grandchildren, Chris Early (Becky), Mary Early (Charles Penman), Gary Early (Kayla), great grandchildren, Justin Early (Abby), Jacob Early, Madison Early, Mason Early, Adiah and Aliann Early.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 18, 2023 at 12 Pm in the Chapel of the Southern Oaks Funeral Home with a funeral service to begin at 2 Pm with Bro. Justin Early officiating. Burial will be in Frankfort Cemetery in Frankfort, Kentucky.
