Estill Baker

Estill Baker, age 67, of Nancy, Kentucky passed from this life Tuesday, October 27, 2020 at Hospice of Lake Cumberland, Jean Waddle Care Center.

Estill was born November 9, 1952 to the late Estill B. Baker Sr. and Verdell Atkins Baker in Nancy, Kentucky.

He was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed riding his Harley, NASCAR racing, motorcycle racing and fishing.

Estill was preceded in death by his parents, Estill and Verdell Baker and his brother, Donald Ray Baker.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his son, James Baker of Nancy, brothers, Ben Franklin Baker (Charlotte “Tutti”), Billy Joe Baker, sisters, Julie Ann Baker, Rosie Baker (Rick), special niece, Madelyn Jones. A special thank you to Crystal Haislep for going above and beyond and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be held Friday, October 30, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home with a funeral service to begin at 4:00 P.M. with Pastor Joseph Warren officiating, burial will follow in the Southern Oaks Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Estill Baker Memorial Fund C/O Southern Oaks Funeral Home.

The family requests that no one under the age of 18 attend the visitation or funeral service for Mr. Baker.
