Private family services will be held
Emma Gail Henderson Burton, age 86, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, 7th December 2020. A lifelong resident of Nancy, Ky. Mrs. Emma Gail passed at Somerset Nursing and Rehabilitation.
Emma married Donald V. Burton on 26th of May 1949. God blessed their union with 3 children, Sandy (and late Phillip) Dodson, Steve (Priscilla) Burton, and the late Jeffery Burton all of Nancy.
Mrs. Emma Gail was preceded in death by her parents, Carthel and Sallie Hudson Henderson, a sister, Velma Henderson Troxell, and 2 brothers, Kenneth Henderson and Johnnie Henderson. She was blessed with several generations, with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchild.
Grandchildren include: Emily Dodson and Kendra Burton Warf of Nancy, Scott Burton of Scottsdale, AZ, Kody Reynolds, Katelyn (Jake) Mounce, of Somerset, Kasey Burton of Northern, Ky. Great-grandchildren: Morgan (Dylan) Sisson, Madalyn Langdon, Gabriel Warf of Nancy, 1 great-great grandson: Preston Gage Sisson of Nancy and a multitude of nieces and nephews and a host of cousins.
Pallbearers will be Scott Burton, Kody Reynolds, Tommy Wilson, Mark Henderson, Dominic Bolin, Donnie Burdine and Honorary Pallbearer will be, Gabriel Warf.
Due to COVID-19 guidelines, Private family services will be held in the Chapel of the Southern Oaks Funeral Home with burial to follow at Lakeside Memorial Gardens with Bro. Allan Dodson officiating.
