Duane Troxtle

Duane Troxtle, age 65, of Science Hill, Kentucky, passed from this life on Wednesday, January 4, 2023 at Jean Waddle Care Center.

Duane was born on January 2, 1958 to the late John E. Troxtle and Lucille Thompson Troxtle in South Amherst, Ohio.

He was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed playing horse shoes, games and cornhole. He enjoyed the outdoors and was a people person.

Duane was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Dale Troxtle. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his son, Jeremy Troxtle of Bronston, Ky; sisters, Trulayne (Tony) Mink of Science Hill, Ky; Donna (Mark) Casada of Wayne County, Ky; sister-in-law, Mary Troxtle of Wayne County, Ky; granddaughter, Anna Beth Johnson, along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 6, 2023 at 12 P.M. in the Chapel of the Southern Oaks Funeral Home with a funeral service begin at 2 P.M. with Bro. Jeff Griffith officiating. Burial will follow in Kidder Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Duane Troxtle Memorial Fund. Southern Oaks Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements for Duane Troxtle.
